Flow Meter Volume Pulsers
MicroPulser™ is a precision microprocessor based dual channel flow rate transmitter designed to be installed between the meter and vertical index, or instrument on most industrial/commercial gas flow meters. MicroPulser provides high resolution flow rate information to RTU""s, flow computers or any other device requiring accurate flow rate information. Flow volumes can be calculated more frequently using MicroPulser due to the 1000 pulses per revolution output. In some cases such as sampling systems or flow rate telemetry, quick updates can significantly improve overall performance and accuracy. High speed flow computers with fast sample rates can be significantly improved with the MicroPulser""s high resolution. A primary cause of pulser failure is corrosion of the index shaft and bearings. MicroPulser uses high performance low friction lubrication free engineered-plastic bearings and a stainless steel index shaft to eliminate corrosion failures. MicroPulser provides two Cass I, Division 1, Groups C and D outputs. Clockwise and counter-clockwise for the model
MP-1000, or two matched outputs for connecting to two devices at the same time such as custody transfer) for the
MP-1000M. The high resolution output is produced by a dual channel optical detector and a precision slotted disk. A microcontroller monitors the detector to determine the rotation direction as well as angular movement. The direction information is used by the controller to determine the
True Absolute Rate and remove false pulses produced by vibration.

High precision 1000 pulses per revolution, MicroPulser provides a pulse outputs for forward flow (rotation in one direction) as well as reverse flow (rotation in the opposite direction). Only MicroPulser offers this feature. Determining index rotation direction allows for blocking flow pulses in reverse flow. True Absolute Rate™ eliminates false pulses. Absolute rate or shaft position is determined using direction and position tracking algorithms and removes false pulses due to vibration. Designed to fit most industrial gas meters.

The MicroPulser 1000M provides pulses on both output channels for clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation. True Absolute Rate™ filtering provides a +/-36 degrees of rotation de-bounce window. When flow is reversed, allow 36 degrees of rotation (100 pulses) before pulse output resumes on both outputs. Provides high precision 1000 pulses per revolution. Designed to fit most industrial gas meters.
The Top Spinner Cover Kit adds protection for the top spinner when a mechanical index is not used.
